Vehicle Rules
- Propulsion is by GRAVITY only.
- No pedaling to increase speed allowed.
- No motors to increase speed allowed.
- No push after starting line. Except to get out of barriers.
- (If you can modify Gravity go ahead.)
- Vehicle must have steering capability.
- Brakes are required.
- No flames or pyrotechnics.
- Size
- Height Maximum is 12ft.
- Width Maximum is 7ft.
- Wheels Minimum of 3. (No Bicycles)
- Other rules
- Minimum age on vehicle is 16yrs.
- Helmets are required. (Hockey gear recommended)
- Number of riders is unLImited.
- Course layout
- Race will be downhill. (uphill racing was briefly considered)
- At least three turns will be required.
- You should be able stop after the race. (M15 is a busy road)
- Entry Fee and Prizes
- Entry fee is $35.00.
- Prizes $500.00 total purse.
- First Prize is $350.00.
- Second Prize is $100.00.
- Third Prize is $50.00.
- Judging
- Artistic Merit 40%
- Presentation of vehicle 40%
- Speed down hill 20%
- 5 minutes for presentation
- When and Where
- Hillside Park in Vassar. Division St. and M15.
- May 16th 2009
- Entry time 9am Judging starts at 10am.
- Race time 3pm.
